Meet Maria Lotimer, a retired elementary school principal and a pickleball enthusiast. As an educator for over 35 years, she was actively involved with coaching volleyball, basketball and soccer.
Maria is actively involved with POWWR as a volunteer, as part of their coaching program and as a learner taking clinics several times a year. One of the highlights this year was helping to coach youth players. She loves sharing her passion and enthusiasm for pickleball with new and novice players.
Maria primarily plays pickleball in Cambridge at Four Fathers during the fall and winter months. During the summer months, she lives on Vancouver Island where she plays in two clubs; Oceanside Pickleball Club and Nanoose Pickleball Club.
